Step 1: Arrival & Intake
At IITS, devices are logged, tagged, and matched against the original asset list. This ensures full traceability and prepares everything for the next stage: data destruction.
Step 2: Data Destruction
All data-bearing devices undergo certified sanitization, including:
- NIST 800-88 data wiping
- Physical shredding (for non-functioning drives)
- Certificate of Destruction issued per device

Step 3: Asset Evaluation
Our team inspects each item to determine:
- Is it reusable?
- Can it be refurbished and resold?
- Does it have salvageable components?
Recoverable assets are flagged for resale or parts harvesting.
Step 4: Resale or Recycling
- Valuable assets are sold via trusted reseller networks, and a portion of the value is returned to you.
- Non-working equipment is dismantled and sent to certified downstream recyclers for material reclamation.
Step 5: Reporting & Payment
Finally, you receive:
- Certificate of Destruction(s)
- Resale reports
- Environmental impact summary
- Your payout (if applicable)
